My Son, Chen Yu, 我兒振宇

Chen Yu inherited his father's writing talent.
He wrote very moving articles
when he was 4th grade in primary school in Taipei.

Chen Yu was born in Rome, Italy, 1983.
He has been always confident in himself.
He was class leader and "Model of the Class"
when he was the first grader in primary school in Taipei.

He couldn't speak any English
when he was the second grader in
Garrette Park Elementary School in Maryland , USA,
yet,  he wrote very impressive and beautiful
English sentences after 3 months in the school.
His short poem on "Spring" was
on the wall in front of the class.
His classmate's father was so amazed
that he informed me to go to read it.
It was really impressive.

Two years later, he moved back Taiwan with his father
and studied in the local school for a half term.
He showed again his talent on writing
a very touching article on his grandmother,
"The person I missed most in my life: My Grandmother".

He was transferred to British Bishop Mackenzie School
in Malawi and two years later, again, to
International School in Jakarta, Indonesia.
He finally could be able to stay there for a longer time,
5 years, to achieve his high school diploma,
the first certificate in his life.

In 2004, he graduated from Babson College in Boston
and started to work as a project manager for
New England Consulting Company.
2 years later he had his dream come true
to work at Google in San Francisco.

3 years and a half he decided to quit his Google job
and started his own business in San Diego.

He has been able to adapt himself very quickly
to the new school , new country, and new environment.
I have been so proud of him.

As a proud mother, I wish him healthy and happy always!
